Gemmotherapy extracts are derived from specific trees and shrubs, using the part that contains their most potent healing properties.
In this 8 week webinar; we will cover a brief overview of what gemmotherapy is, its background and highlighting the points that differentiate it from phytotherapy derived from adult plants. The 53 gemmotherapy remedies will be reviewed, one by one, highlighting the specific, unique points for each. Some case examples will be given throughout, illustrating clinical application of the gemmo remedies.
The gemmo remedies will be reviewed based on body systems or physiological actions, for example, lymphatic moving, liver remedies, cardiovascular remedies, skin remedies, etc. This allows participants to begin to differentiate the application, providing an overall review of the remedies from varying perspectives.
About Robin DiPasquale Robin DiPasquale, ND, RH (AHG)
is a doctor of naturopathic medicine, a homeopath and a registered herbalist. She holds a doctorate in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University, and has been practicing in the healing arts for over 30 years. Dr. DiPasquale serves as faculty at Bastyr University for 15 years where she was chair is the botanical medicine department. She also held a faculty position at the University of Washington School of Nursing, and was the lead faculty for CAM Camp, a unique one month program that introduced complementary and alternative medicine to students from allopathic medical schools. After moving to Madison, Wisconsin; Dr. DiPasquale opened a family practice, Red Lotus Healing Arts. In addition, she was the first naturopathic doctor to work directly in patient care through the As a naturopathic doctor, Dr. DiPasquale has an extensive toolbox. Diet and nutrition are the foundation of all support. Robin has been practicing homeopathic medicine since the birth of her daughter 37 years ago. She has studied extensively with homeopaths throughout the world, especially the Indian homeopath from Mumbai. Practicing as a massage therapist prior to becoming a naturopathic doctor brings hands on healing to her repertoire, including Cranial Sacral and Visceral Manipulation. Robin loves plants and plant medicine, so when she was introduced to gemmotherapy, she embraced it fully and has been teaching gemmotherapy for 15 years at Bastyr University, on-line through Gemmos LLC, and at herbal and naturopathic conferenced in the U.S. and Italy. One of the unique modalities that Robin offers is Family Constellation Therapy,
University of Wisconsin Integrative Medicine Clinic. While working in Wisconsin, the state with the second highest reported cases of Lyme Disease, Dr. DiPasquale expanded her knowledge and expertise in working with patients with Lyme Disease and the co-infections of Lyme Disease. working with people to heal ancestral patterns. She facilitates this work in both individual and group sessions.
Dr. DiPasquale is a writer, has been published nationally and internationally, and is a contributing editor for the naturopathic journal NDNR, writing regular columns on botanical insights in naturopathic medicine.
